Knitwear Review. Paris FW, Spring/Summer 2020
The last knitwear review of the season is coming from Parisian runways. This time I've found classic interpretations of knitwear, theatrical costumes and mix of styles.Miu Miu paired off shoulder cardigans with skirts. Looks like they used alpaca or some mohair in their knits - they look so soft and comfy. It is very rear to see knitwear, especially crochet in the business attire. Altuzarra is breaking the tradition and mixes crochet tops with suits and crochet/knit skirts with blazers.A little bit of costume theater from Thom Browne. Just looks at those knits - I do not why but it feels like a scene from Alice in Wonderland movie.
Altuzarra presented eclectic dresses and classic cardigans that are so easy to wear.
Nanushka is keeping it classy and natural - neutral colors, simple shapes and natural materials can be found in their latest collection.Courreges, Givenchy and Zadig&Voltaire have created eyelet knits that are easy to pair with skirts, shorts and pants. This simple stripe sweater from Zadig&Voltaire is one of my favorite from Paris fashion week - loose shape, wide stripes and simple colors. It also looks so great with the summer tiered skirt.Sacai featured knit dresses and paired them with one shoulder trench coats/shirt dresses. Such an unusual styling!Christian Dior and Mame Kurogouchi use their cozy loose sweaters as the canvas and created a beautiful print. This is it for this season knitwear reviews from the fashion weeks, I really hope you found something interesting for yourself in them. You can see all my reviews here - Knitwear Review Fashion Weeks. My favorite from this season was New York, so many classy shapes and beautiful designer decisions.
Hope you are having a great week! I will see you soon!
