This weekend I revisited my old FO - Textured Jacket by Shirley Paden.For some reason I desperately wanted to add wider bands, so the Monday morning started with ripping out and reknitting. So many memories were brought by this cardigan... Hurricane, excitement about dear friend coming after a long time without seeing each other, Modification Monday visit and so many more... It's been 9 months since I finished it, I can't believe how time flew and how many things have changed in my life!As you may remember the garter stitch bands were modifications of i-cord finishing in the original. Crochet ties were used to close it in.I ripped out the last row, picked up the stitches and just knit for several more rows to get wide bands. Now I have a new old cardi to warp myself in. It's so nice to give new fresh details to your old FOs!
