Rain. Textured Sweater Pattern
After several months of work, Rain pattern is finally here! When I published finished sweater details back in September, I received so many wonderful words from you that inspired me to sit down and put my knitting notes/scribbles into order. Thank you for all the encouragement!For me every single project starts with the yarn and it is important to me to showcase the aesthetics and the vision of the yarn company I am working with. I love We Are Knitters for their relaxed, fun and modern approach to knitwear. When I got my hands on the gorgeous Pima cotton skeins in Denim shade (you can read the full yarn review here - We Are Knitters. Pima Cotton.), I saw a simple sweater with just a tiny bit of texture that you can throw on on a lazy Sunday morning and stay in it all day long.Rain is just so easy to wear with its clean lines, subtle texture and beautiful drape, created by slightly loose fabric knit with deliciously soft Pima cotton

Rain is a seamless top-down compound raglan with the lines following your natural shoulder curve.Minimal neckline shaping that looks something between round neck or boat neckline and longer armholes for a relaxed fit. The elongated slip stitch pattern both on the main body and the sleeves adds the graphic element to the sweater basic stockinette stitch fabric.Minimal shaping in the body will get you into relaxing zen knitting rhythm and the slip stitch pattern will keep you interesting throughout the project - is so satisfying to watch how these "stitch drops" are growing on your needles...

Optional - US size 6 [4 mm] double-pointed needles (set of 4) for the sleeves. You can use US size 6 [4 mm] 31" [80 cm] circular needle to work the sleeves using the magic loop method.
