Moeke and Me - 2017 Plans
I would love to thank you for your kind words about my small anniversary last week! Thank you so much! This design year was amazing and I am really looking forward to 2017!
It was a happy mail kind of weekend - I've been waiting for a yummy yarn package from Netherlands for almost a month now, and this Saturday I finally got my hands on Elena, Heritage and Romanian Merino skeins by Moeke. Of course, I couldn't not share it with you! I can't start working with any yarn until I take a bunch of photos of it. It's some kind of ritual that every skein has to go through before it ends up on my needles.
After I published Journey and The Choice, Ioana, the owner and founder of Moeke Yarns, was kind enough to offer me to work with their yarns in 2017. I said yes immediately! First of all, I am very grateful for meeting Ioana, a hardworking and beautiful woman, who became my friend; second of all, I love to be a part of this small family company that is so young - I feel like I am at the very beginning of something really really wonderful that will keep growing over the time; and the last, but not least, the yarn itself of course. I am a Moeke addict now :)
I will be working with lovely and talented Junko this upcoming year to create Moeke 2017 knitwear collection!
I am infinitely grateful for this opportunity and will try my best to make justice to the yarns. Before I worked only with Elena line, but next year I will have the opportunity to explore Heritage and Romanian Merino. Can't wait!!
I am trying to finish all my current projects before 2017, so it will be pretty busy couple of weeks! I hope you are enjoying all this holiday frenzy and spending your time with your loved ones!
Have a wonderful week!
