Holiday Spirit Knits
Happy Monday! I hope you are having a great start of the new week. Among all this pre-holiday frenzy there are my knits which keep me grounded - it is always so nice to come back to my WIPs after a long day. For these days I always need something mindless and familiar, in beautiful fiber that I will enjoy holding in my hands throughout the whole project. If you remember, I gifted my original Wheat pullover to my dear friend - it was just perfect for her.But then I remembered that I have this luxurious baby alpaca from Magliamania in my stash, a gift from a dear friend. I couldn't resist - I cast it on! I wish you could feel it through the screen... And this forest green is just right for the holiday spirit, right? And one more WIP, oh so close to finishing, is my La Flor in Take Care Mohair - I am just so curious to see how my patterns change with different fibers. This light, soft and airy yarn reminds me of snow that I haven't seen in so many years... It brings memories of the snowflakes on my face and of the sight of my parent's backyard where my dog is playing with the snow.
I am determined to finish it before the clocks strike 2018.
I hope you are having a magical December filled with dear to your heart people, good food and inspiring knits.
